📜 About this temple
પાતાળેશ્વર મહાદેવ મંદિર ભારત દેશના પશ્ચિમ ભાગમાં આવેલા ગુજરાત રાજ્યના ઉત્તર ભાગમાં આવેલા પાલનપુર શહેર ખાતે આવેલ એક ઐતિહાસિક શિવ મંદિર છે. શહેરમાં આવેલા કીર્તિસ્તંભની બાજુમાં આવેલ પાતાળેશ્વર મહાદેવનું મંદિર ગુર્જર સોલંકી રાજા સિદ્ધરાજ જયસિંહના જન્મસ્થળ તરીકે પ્રખ્યાત છે. પરંતુ તેનું વિશેષ મહત્વ પાતાળમાંથી સ્વયંભુ પ્રગટ થયેલ ચમત્કારિક શિવલીંગને કારણે છે.
