நாடார் சமூகதத்தினர் குலதெய்வ வழிபாடு நடத்தி வந்தனர். முதலில் சிறிய கொட்டகை அமைத்து கல் வைத்து வழிபாடு நடத்தினர். காலப்போக்கில் சமூகத்தினர்கள் வரி வசூல் செய்து பொது இடத்தில் கோயில் கட்டியுள்ளனர். மேலும் கோயில் வல பக்கம் பிரச்சன்னப் பெருமாள் கோயிலும் கட்டியுள்ளனர். நாடார்களின் குலதெய்வமாக விளங்குவதல் பல்வேறுப் பகுதியில் இருந்து குலதெய்வ வழிபாட்டிற்கு வந்து செல்கின்றனர். 2016 ஆண்டு புதுப்பிக்கப்பட்டு கோயில் கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடந்தது.
The temple is open from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
