📜 About this temple
திருக்கோவிலூர் வீரட்டேஸ்வரர் கோயில் என்பது அப்பர், சுந்தரர், சம்பந்தர் ஆகிய மூவராலும் தேவாரம் பாடல் பெற்ற சிவத்தலம் ஆகும். இச்சிவத்தலம் இந்தியா தமிழ்நாடு மாநிலத்தில் கள்ளக்குறிச்சி மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள திருக்கோவிலூரில் கீழையூர் என்ற பகுதியில் அமைந்துள்ளது. இது தேவாரப் பாடல் பெற்ற தலங்களில் நடுநாட்டுத் தலங்களில் ஒன்றாகும். மேலும் இது அட்டவீரட்டத் தலங்களில் ஒன்று ஆகும்.
